Hi all,

Anyone here know where the nylon/plastic piece that rides on the end of the T-case shifter can be found?
It looks like the shape of two washers sandwiched to a square nut in between them. This part engages the shift fork on the t-case. Mine is brittle and has shattered the sides off and now is pretty much just the square part left. I want to find a new one if possible. The ones at the bone yards are either, missing or, broken like mine. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I got a bunch of those plastic crush rings that go around oil drain plugs and used them to shim it up. Worked pretty well.

I took a nylon bushing made for clutch pedal linkage and ground a flat spot on two sides so it would fit in the end of the fork, then put a washer on the outside. I also cut threads into the end of the pin so I could thread a nut onto it.

I don't suppose you have a part number handy or know what vehicle it was for?

It came in a variety pack from the Help section at Advance Auto.

Great ideas guys. I'm guessing then there isn't a source for the stock part or an after market one. So, I'll use your ideas to get something put together. Thanks for the help!
