I have a 86 ford Ranger 4x4 that I am doing a 35 TTB conversion on. Took out the old Dana 28. While it was out I ran across a good deal on a lift kit. Picked up a 6 inch superlift with extended radius arms. I have 2 in coil spacers too. I was wondering if anyone knows if they make a drop pitman arm for my lift kit that will help it. I know I can run the superrunner steering, cuz that is only from 3.5 to 6in lift only. So if I got a 6in drop pitman arm would that work? If anyone has information that would help. let me know.

from what i understand and have read, you need the drop pitman arm to correct for the change in angle in the steering linkage. there is a lot of information in the tech library if you do some reading. most of it should be explained.

Yes, there is one pitman arm available that will work decent with a 6" lift:
Skyjacker pt# FA600.

Everything else is too short, and will not restore your steering to it's proper angle.

And strangely, the Superrunner steering kit is only good from 2" to 4" lift. Contrary to what Superlift states, it does not work well above 4" lift (without modification anyway, requiring a welder).
