Came home from work and the car was sitting in the exact same spot (smart man), and someone made a 100$ deposit on it today, and will be picking it up Monday. Said i would get the other 200 before we sign the title.

Besides my parents or possibly my my grandfather, I would not let someone have a vehicle of mine with the intention of buying to leave with it without signing papers and handing me cash. At least cash, if they want their money back, they give the goods back in the same condition it was delivered. Im sure you were thinking or at least hoping to get the money from him soon, so you let him have it in good faith.

Well nothing was hurt, and if anything would of been done the cops would of been called. I don't mess around with that stuff

That would be correct. He was at the house when i drove past it, so i am assuming that is the only reason he would be there really.
