Thanks for explaining the dies. I just a list of em... huge list haha! but most of em ran like 150 plus

however i got a quote back for the jd... 335 total including shipping to my house. Not too bad i think

What size die are you wanting? That seems pretty cheap, does it include a die set?

nah it doesn't include the die set i'm figuring i'll get one for 1 1/2"... but i still don't get the difference between tube and pipe for the die sets. i thought both pipe and tube meant hollow, or is it more than that?

I was hoping i could find some die sets somewher else for cheaper! I was figuring on checkin ebay... but gotta make sure i get the right application.

Pipe is measured inside diameter, and thickness is measured in schedual (40, 80 etc. )

Tube is measured in outside diameter and thickness is measured just like plate steel would be (.120", .250")
