got some question here....i am thinking to swap in a d44 i would like hp...not sure of full width or not..it does look good on the picture doesn't look to wide...anyway i was looking on the shortening 44 in tech library and they say that if you cut 6" out of passenger side EB axle will fit..is the driver side same lenght also?...and is it possible to convert a 44 to 4.5 on 5 bolt pattern? and is an 8.8 31 spline from an explorer the same width of this "shorten 44"?. thx
