Pics looking over Salt Lake Valley

I took the wife up for a little weekend getaway and snapped some photos. These are from Ogden Canyon in Ogden, Utah. Ogden is somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-45 miles north of Salt Lake.

This is the cabin we stayed in. Very cool little place.

This little stream was about 50 yards from our cabin door. Very peaceful!

We went up to Mirror Lake for a couple hours today. What a beautiful drive it was. I didn't take any pics on the drive, which is just a shame. But the end result was amazing. I've been here several times, but not for about 12 years. These pics just don't do it the justice it deserves. Enjoy......

:bawling: ........wish i was there!

It was wonderful DG. It's been 100 degrees or hotter in Salt Lake for the last week. Up at the lake it was in the mid 70's - so that was an added bonus. Our kids are just a little too young to camp there just yet. Maybe next year. I've still got my sights set on a tent trailer to tug behind the F150.

Couple more I took today on Antelope Island....

Thank you! We have a lot of variety in this state. Unfortunately, I rely on my phone for a camera most of the time - but it does fairly decent.
