Just for the record they do look a lot better in person, I got to see a XLT at a local car show last winter, only thing I didn't like was the grille... and the FX4 package would take care of that. Especially with a black paint job, I don't think a better looking truck has been built.

I don't really like any new trucks (full size anyway) these days. Overall, the grilles are way too big and so are the headlights. Also the bedsides look like they're 4 ft tall. They look like toys.

I like the current F-150s (mostly) except for the bedsides. I've driven a King Ranch around and its niiiice. I did the full size thing, and I think I'll stick to Rangers.

That is my only beef with the current trucks. In the new ones defence they did make steps that pop down so you can actually reach inside the bed.

i like f-150s ive got the 89 lariat and its a tank. The newer ones look like crap, it seems the bed is longer then it is and i dont like it. This ones nice, but vehicles these days r turning plastic, i want steel. Its got to be a work truck for me not no panzy toyota p.o.s. (sister has one and i can't physically get in it, im 6ft. its junk)

They do have steel bodies for the most part. The grille, and most of the interior is plastic... just like every other truck since the early 80's.
