Picked up a new Ranger today

So are you going to change your forum name now that you drive a 2.3 instead of a 3.0?

I'd have to agree that $2300 seems a bit high for the work involved, but then again I'm cheap,my current ranger cost $100 and I had to do the brakes and some body work,my vehicle before that was a '93 grand am that I paid $50 for drove for 5 months and sold for $100

I just bought a 1993 with 200 000km on it for $3450, and it needs and alternator, the center arm rest, just about every piece of trim on the interior, and it has damage on the back of the box. It depends on where you are for the prices of trucks. Here, what I paid was cheap, I just sold a Dakota in rough shape, and in dire need of a windshield, and with 260 000km and the transmission is about to let go. I got $1500 for it, and that was selling it cheaply and just trying to get rid of it.

I just wish I had my old truck back

So do I, I mill my old 89' and it wont matter how nice my new truck is or any future vehicle is, I'll always miss that old 89' of mine. Rolling off highways suck.

Add-A-Leaf rear spring lift.

Oh,Yea it dosnt have that. The sprigs on the rear look weak to me, I think theres only 3 leafs total on each spring.

The Cobra has a rediculas amount into it, except for the body and interior theres nothing stock on it. My Dads freind who owend it first belive it or not put $30,000 into it. Thats including doing things twice like putting 2 diffrent Superchargers, rear end rebuilt twice, etc. He still ended up getting srewed big time. Then my dad got it off him for $27,000. My Dad already put $15,00 into it, ended up geting a Livernois stroker short block, worked heads, built trans, redid the suspenison, and now hes looking to spray it :D

dang! its a shame you can never get out of, what you got into your car. but it works out good when your the buyer!
