Pedal wear odometer/mileage.

Nope.

Whatever Dorman makes their pedal pads out of ain't the same stuff Ford used. Truck had 25k when I got it.

The ones in my Ranger look like the OP's, am not bothering to replace them until I have to. Either fight with a chunks of 40yo dried out NOS rubber or cheap new junk... its a no win situation.
I’ll second this, the Dorman ones wear incredibly fast compared to OEM. Seems like the Dorman ones are good for about 20k and then they are getting worn through, at least if you wear boots a lot.

Maybe some of that brush on nonskid would work better?

I will probably just try some better ones like from LMC that cost more but are the same as Dorman if these petrified things ever wear out.

Wouldn't the under-dash creeper be you?
Ha ha. No, it’s actually a sort of bench you set on the door sill and has an adjustable stand on the other end to give you a flat place to lay so you can focus on smashing your head into the pedals instead of just being a contortionist

So you actually bought a thing that takes all the fun out of working under the dash of a vehicle?! :no2:

I have no idea what y’all are talking about. The pedals on all three of my Rangers were metal when I got them…

Well, yes… because I’m not getting any younger and I only paid a couple bucks for it because there was a cut in the padding and it was missing hardware

My ‘94 had no clutch/brake pedal covers when I bought it, quick trip to the junkyard fixed that.
