Anyone know where to source a new or used passenger side exhaust manifold cover from?

I don't have a source. I am sure they have a purpose, but I removed mine. It was causing my exhaust manifold to warp enough that it would leak. After grinding the exhaust manifold twice to get the head contact surface flat I felt the cover was possibly causing it. Without the cover/heat shield the warpage never occurred again over 150K miles.

Too bad I didn't keep it to give to you.

What do you mean by Exhaust Manifold cover?

I’m guessing what’s being discussed here is the aluminum “cover” that from the factory had a hose that connected it to a flapper on the inlet tube that goes from behind the passenger headlight up to the airbox. The flapper was controlled by the metal disk in the lid of the airbox and used engine vacuum to operate. The purpose was to draw warm air off the manifold during engine warm-up to warm the engine faster. Most useful in colder climates, but most of these have lost parts or outlived their useful life and parts aren’t really available except a junkyard or creativity…
