Seriously, if you saw someone, lets say a teen and their father, repeatedly practicing parallel parking next to your vehicle on the street, would you get mad?

if it was mine, i'd be upset if it was hit, but come on there is a big difference between say your average mid-size car at say 15 ft long versus say a parking cone that is only 12x12 on it's base. worse case scenario, they hit your car and have to pay damages. in my case that would be sweet cuz i have a 1978 camaro with matching numbers that if it was mint would be worth some change. best case would be that you now have a better driver in the world. myself, i would hope for the latter, only because i have seen too many of today's youth who are not taught proper driving habits. case in point, a few months ago we had a group of teenagers driving home from a party and got lost, instead of pulling over to use her cell phone she starts to text message for directions WHILE driving, doesn't pay attention to road and the fact that it dead ends at a river [ the Elwa River that empties into the Straight of Jaun deFuca ], out of seven kids in the car only five made it out alive, the driver lived. so to all of you want to get mad at a responsible parent for teaching his kid proper driving habitsI would be very annoyed. Would I say something? Maybe only if they hit it. But yeah I would be somewhat ticked, especially since they can just set up cones.
you don't practice parallel, either your good at it, or go find a parking lot![]()
It's not a requirement to get your license anymore. When I took my license test I just had to back into a parking space, didn't have to parallel park. Even when I was taking my driving lessons my teacher only made me try it once and that was it.
