painting plastic grille

has anyone painted their grille? what paint did you use and what prep is necessary? any help appreciated.

Sand it I there's old paint, to get it smooth and rough it up, wipe it with isopropyl alcohol, and spray it with krylon fusion. Worked great on mine. If you want it body color, it wouldn't hurt to prime it with plastic-specific primer first, then dupli-color perfect match.
