it was looking a little to greyish so i hit it with some satin black, i had a heck of a time getting at it but thats all in learning.

i also figured it would be a good time to change my emblem, let me know what you think

looks good, did you do the color change on the emblem or is it a aftermarket one, oh and what did you use for the grill ive been thinking about doing mine for a while now

i used that krylon fusion paint, no prepwork and no clear needed; we'll see how well it holds up. as for the emblems, i just did the color change, the emblem on the tailgate was alot easier to do.

im pretty sure its the same write up. the link i just posted is how i did the emblem on the tailgate, the link within (http://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=10026&highlight=red+ford+emblem) is how i had to do the front emblem. i used "EnviroTEX Lite: pour-on High Gloss Finish" for the new gel on my front emblem just because its all the craft store had. i have heard it recomended that you should use new emblems but i just re used my old ones.

Has any one seen the emblem that lite up a have a friend that has one on his 85 stang but he found it in a junkyard.
