ox locker for a ranger?

does anyone know if there is an ox locker made for the ranger? i was on the sitr but it stopped loading in at the f 250's ( damn dial up)

They make one for the 31 spline 8.8, but not the 28 spline 8.8 or 7.5

Ford 8.8 2.73 and up, 31 spline OXF88C273H-31

There is one for the D35, but you would have to majorly modify the axle beam for the shift for mechanism.

Dana 35 3.55 and up, 27 spline OXD35C355H-27

As far as i know they only make a locker for the 31 spline 8.8. I have an '02 Fx4 and I love mine so far, I installed it after the torsen exploded.

ok so i have a 97 ranger. but im almost completly sure its a 28 spline axle. so how do i go about getting an axle i can use an ox locker in? would i be able to keep my housing and just change the internals? or do i have to find a whole new axle from somthign that that locker works in?

You do have a 28spl 8.8"... Just find an Explorer 8.8" axle, it will be the 31spl version... No, you cannot just swap out the guts, the axle tubes on the 31spl 8.8" are different...

You can buy 31 spline axles that will fit in the 28 spline housing, but I'd just find an explorer 8.8 with disc brakes.
