Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like if you've had back problems Ranger seats don't help. I put the 05 seats in thinking it would solve the problem.
I'm 5'10" and weigh 180 lbs. I'm not really a big guy.
I'm very concerned about the safety aspect. If I raise the seats my legs get real close to the steering wheel. It's not adjustable (tilt) so that could be a problem. Didn't factor in the physics of the seats belts etc.. I'm questioning what I would raise the back of the seat with. Wood seems to fragile. And then the bolt length gets extended. The seat was designed to planted on the floor pan with a short bolt. My problem is that's killing me everyday.
