overhead console

i have a 2002 ranger s/cab 4door 4x4. where can i get a overhead console at. i want the factory look. i figure i can get one out of a explorer. but i dont know what year would work the best.

From what I understand the Explorer is a RBV until 2002. So if you can find something from 02 or older you should be golden. I was thinking of doing the same thing when I had extra money but everywhere I went all the Explorers were gutted and now I have no money so I stopped looking.

95-01, early ones the displayes are green, later changed to blue,been thinking about finding one for an 97-03 f-150 for my 06(like the ranger screen/electronic wise, just different base

Try to find a Windstar. From what I have read, they will bolt in with little or no mods, and the wiring might be the work with a few mods.

There always some for sale on Ebay for <50$. Be sure to get the mounting bracket because it's disc from Ford. You need the temp sensor, about 15$ new from Ford.
