Overdrive switch

I've looked thru the Tech Library, and used search, but I can not find out how to remove the O/D switch from the end of the shift lever. Does it just pull straight out from the end, or twist?
It's a 95 with the 4R55E.

The end of the shifter should pop off..pry it a little screw driver carefully.
