Being a newbie I realize my thoughts and opinion doesn't carry much weight....but, I would like to say a BIG THANKS to all those running/managing TRS and to all those answering my dumb a$$ questions. I know this site has helped me immensely and one of the things that keeps me on here ( daily) is the fact although I am far away from most, there is some connection. It's like having "buddies" all across the world who are there for each other with mainly Ranger issues, but I do read some of the ''social'' issues as well. I try to keep up with the "room mate saga" ...it's like a soap opera. And even tho we all don't agree on all the issues on how to maintain, fix or keep up our rangers...at least most have the balls to give their opinion and let the reader take what he/she will. Again...Thanx to the managers/mods and members!!!

PS: I've got tons of stupid questions yet...perhaps one day I can help answer some!

TRS, Ranger Militia and Facebook are the only 3 sites I go on. I don't know of any other sites that hold the same quality as TRS. I may only be new to the site, but I'm here to stay. Thanks Jim and everyone on here!!!!!!!

I've been part of a few forums that the owners sold out on. Its truly like a back stabbing, especially since one of those was a close-knit type of forum. Most everyone was local and if you messed with one you messed with all(ala yellowbullet.com).

I also appreciate the fact that you don't get all high and mighty like a lot of other small forum owners. There's nothing more annoying than having an admin that does as he wishes and is always shoving it in your face that its HIS website and if you don't like the way he runs it they can leave.

To me, what makes this site better than any other one I've been on is the camaderie (sp?) Most people put up with dumb questions, non-searching and the like with very little to no flaming - you don't see that at other sites. It just has a different feel - and it comes from the top. Thanks Jim. Oh yeah, how many of you regulars haven't found at least a dozen people on here who'd you'd put up for a night? Or go 100 miles to rescue? That's what I'm talking about!!!

Well, I've already told a few people here that were down on their luck that if they were closer they could come live with me.

Also, if the text had come through I would have driven ~ 100 miles to go get Frank when he flew up here to buy that B2.

Indeed. Many thanks to you Jim, and to all the regulars that make this site what is.
I've come to enjoy...well reading more than posting, and here at TRS, that is okay. This is a unique place where instead of being pounded with ad's and silly opinion, you have an opportunity to learn through others endevors and share some stories about your own.

TRS is a "lifestyle" site. Anyone here long enough knows that. It just would not be the same under new management.
