Options for Tranny Replacement?

that would be kind of nice , really. have lower ratios on 1-3 4rth would still be the same and the o/d raio would be similar. id probly invest in new ring & pinion asys before swapping a trans for just a lower 1-3 ratio though. i do think his problem is being in 2 gears at once, i had a jeep trans that did something simialr, i shifted it way too hard and it was still in one gear, the end of the lever had been forced out of the rail slot, it did go into the other one and i had "park" (2 ratios at once)

Alrite, either way this all sounds like good news to me. I'm not a mechanic but between me and a couple of my friends we'll be able to check it out and come up with a conclusion on this. If its a cheaper fix that means I'll be closer to gettin new MT's
