Opinions on steerign angle

Junkie that steering style in the first pic was found stock on some 75-77 Ford Fullsize 4x4's. when i bought my 77 axle it came with that style steering still on it orig.

True... and it sucked just the same. Anyone lifting those trucks was always encouraged to swap to the '78-'79 steering, as it swaps right on and is far better.

IIRC, it was only '76 & '77 models that came with it (two years for Ford to realize their goof).

i didn't even try that steering set-up, went and got the 78 style before i ever drove the truck.

well, imma be doing away with it before i ever drive the truck aswell.......but one things for damn sure, with how far the tires stick out on the side it looks like i got full width axles LOL
