Boy am I glad all the tech we have now was not around as we grew up. Small towns get boring. So .. incredibly stupid fun things tend to happen just to break the monotony. . I was definitely a wild one. For at least 5 years of my youth, my favorite thing was to get the local police after me. Then loose em. Doing so with all of today’s tech would most probably end with prison time. . About the third year I actually had a gentleman’s agreement with one officer. He said he loved chasing me. So. Deal was , anytime he saw me , he was going to pursue. If he loses my tail lights for more than 5 seconds the chase was off. And he would not pursue again that night. But if he ever caught me. He would have to arrest me . Guess I got really good at it. He never won. BUT HORY CRAP HE COULD DRIVE. Many fun memories came from that dumb pass time. But again. ONLY in a small town.

My neighbor drove his tractor everywhere here in town. As long as you have one of those orange triangles, its legal here. He drove a big blue amd white tractor amd would pull drunk drivers out of the ditches with it

We had a lady do the same thing only with some crappy mid 90's MTD garden tractor.

They actually busted her in the grocery store parking lot for DUI...george jones style.

Funniest thing was they impounded the mower and they contract with a towing guy here in town....who came out with his F650 rollback and winched it right up on the deck. The lady at the bank showed me the video. It was pretty hilarious

Just as odd is a 4X8 utility trailer. I had that happen to me when the tongue bar snapped. AAA wouldn't cover to tow bill either, even though I was a premier member for years. Not even any kind of discount was offered. I dropped my membership soon after.

Oh, I was furious but I wasn't about to drag the person who took the call over the coals. It wasn't her fault that the company took that stance and had that policy. I was becoming dissatisfied with some of their positions and policies on things as it was. They were becoming more and more like an insurance company where they do all they can not to cover you
