I use a 90 cf scuba tank, found it in a pawn shop real cheap when I first started setting up my Ranger for off roading but if I had to do it again I would use a on-board tank and compressor system.
The scuba tank works fine, easy to remove but I have to take it to Carson City for refills (3 to 4 times a year) with my Suburban cuz the one hour round trip on the highway would be too much ware and tear on my Baja Claws.
Refills are $5.35 and there's a Hydro test once a year.
we used a york 210 air conditioner from a i think a 70's ford truck and used it on a v belt from the crank and it goes to the front bumper that my dad fabricated to be air tight with a quick diconect to attach air hoses it holds about 100psi of air and can run air tools pretty cool system. with the air conditioner pump we have a filter on the suction side of the pump and gauge with a blow off valve rated for 120 psi on the outlet with some hose to the bumper you have to make a custom bracket to mount it. then a toggel switch in the dash to turn the clutch on and off. i can get some pics in a few weeks when i get home from school again just dont feel like cleaning the 2 feet of snow off of it. also here is a post on a differnt site that talks a bit about it http://forums.off-road.com/suzuki-geo-all/160414-york-210-compressor-board-air.html
