Old School 1986

I guess it's been eight years since I got the Ranger since I had to get another (2-year) smog test.

The good news is that I passed with no issues. Just filled it up with premium and drove on the highway for a few miles (warming up the catalytic converter). EnviroTest in Golden is my preferred test facility. Although they did try to prop up the hood using the jack handle instead of the prop rod :annoyed:

Two more years and I can get collector plates!

-you need to let me trade you out of that thing before it breaks down on you....lol

Here in Texas you can get antique plates after 24 years or older . I'm a 94 just a year are so ways I think

I'm so glad they got rid of the crazy emissions testing here in Missouri. Now anything older than 1996 only needs a safety inspection. Anything newer they just plug into the OBD-II port. Basically, if your check engine light isn't on, you're golden.

Nice looking truck. Very clean. It's nice seeing a Ranger that's not all mudded out or mini-trucked from time to time!
