I went to the local autoshow for Oklahoma City, OK. And there were a few surprizes. Jeeps off-road hybrid, Dodge's all electric concept Li-Ion car, Ford's new Fusion hybrid and ecoboost engine, and Ford's new Tarus SHO. And naturally, the humble Ford Ranger. Which I got to talk to a lady that truely misses her Ranger but she had to sell it because it didn't get good gas mileage.

Jeep's concept off-road hybrid. This really a piece of work. According to the speaker, this thing is made of aluiminum.

Dodge concept Li-ion electric car, EVO. This vehicle really got my attention. Very sleek lines. The roof is all one-piece windsheild.

2010 Ford Fusion hybrid

Ford F-150 (something). A bit oversized. If I could have taken the photo more correctly, the truck's bed is almost taller than the cab of the Ranger. But too many people were in the way.

2009 Ford Ranger. Probably the only truck that wasn't over-rated and got the most people to look at it. Not even Toyota Tacoma, GM's Colorado, or Nissian Frontier got as much attention as the Ranger.

Ford's ecoboost engine cut away. I have to say, that turbo is tiny.

if you dont mind, could you post that up in the regional section when you find out? I'd like to go.

I went to the Starbird show a couple weekends ago, and it was cool to see (most of) the custom stuff but I'd like to see some concepts and new models that are coming in the next couple years.

yeah i will be sure to post about it once i find out when it is. i was at the Starbird show when it was here. didnt realize so many cool cars were from oklahoma haha

That was only a taste of some. Almost all major brands were there to show something. Ford/Mercury had the largest exhabit. Volkswagon was displaying their new Clean TDI for 2010. Hybrid vehicles were there too. It was a good place to be for fun and kicks, to catch up with some of the new styling.

The front of the f150 looks like a chevrolet.:)shady

I'm sure BDAB would be interested in the Mopars.:icon_rofl:

I love going to those shows, i'm going to the Columbus Intenational Car Show two weekends from this weekend i'll half to post pics too i always take a ton of'em nice pics looks like fun. Was there any exotics there? Farrari, Lambo, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Lotus, Panos, Aston Martin. They usually show here but only because the nations first Lambo dealership is only a half hour drive away from Columbus in Marysville and they get and sell you just about everything now. You'll be amazed at the cars you can somtimes see driving around here in good ol'Ohio. I've saw a silver Aston in West Liberty, a sky blue Lamo roadster in Bellefontaine, and a red Tessterosa in Wapakoneta.:shok:

i was at the Chicago auto show a few years back and was floored by all the exhibits there. every car you could imagine. they even had a jeep obstacle course you could ride through.

yea, the Chicago and the Detroit are always the best ones not to metion the Las Vagas auto show, i don't count SEMA for its not open to public.

how cool would it be to get to go to the SEMA show though.
