Okay boys and girls. I need some good ol' reliable TRS forum help here with a gal. First off, she is 20, about 5'4" (rough estimate), good personality, in college to become a math teacher, and she and I are going rock climbing on May 6th. Also, I believe she shows a similar interest in me, as I do in her. We also talk a lot, and she is very uplifting to be around!

Now, here are the catches, none of which I assume as potentially bad (knowing her the way I do). She has a year old child and she is my calculous tutor.

Here is the other catch: I have roughly $130-$150 (need to cash my change bucket to get exact total), and I was going to buy aluminum rims with good tires on them for the 88' Ranger, and also buys some front end parts. (most likely a tire rod and ball bearings).

I also have a few questions: Can I use the rods off of my 1984 Ranger? Where can I get good wheel bearings cheapest (I've seen $21.50 for thee upper ones alone)? and Where should I put my money?


I got a laptop, so this is what is left of that fund. (I earned the cash though).

In all honesty, put the money in the truck to make it road worthy and that's it. Theres no need to spend money on a "potential" girl. Especially if the feelings are one sided you know?

Go out a few times if it becomes that...Other than that, keep it as it is and just have fun.

That sir is the EXACT description of the ONLY girl that has ever cheated on me. Single mom, loved church, Fun, wants to be a teacher and the ex boyfriend thing. I'm not saying this girl would do the same to you but you better be careful. You're a guy, you're gonna do whatever the eff you want regardless of what anyone else says.. chase the cookie while its hot and dont have any regrets but my money says your ass gets burned in the future.

I'm not trying to be a douche, just trying to offer a little insight from a past experience.

Yeah, in my experience the chicks that go to church tend to be a little wilder.
Something about that they can just go repent for their sins and everything is ok. At least in their head it is.

Here's what going to happen.

The first few times you hang out/taker her out, she'll find a babysitter. Then, as she becomes more comfortable around you, she'll bring the kid along. This will change everything.

Lets say you two are watching a movie, it's late, you have a boner, and want to to stick it in someplace warm and wet, so you'll make a move. You two will start having some fun when BAM! Out comes the kid crying for their mama, and the night will essentially be over. At first you'll think, no big deal, we'll get it next time. Wrong.

As much as you may like this chick, you will start to dislike the kid for a few reasons. It's annoying, it's hungry, it's crying, it's in the way, it's expensive, it's not YOUR kid and it TAKES PRIORITY OVER YOU.

If there was no kid, I'd say give it your best shot. But steer clear, as it takes a lot of patience to date a girl that already has a child. Are you ready to be a father? Because she is probably looking for one for her kid.

Nothing against her, or against her kid, or against single mothers, but from experience, it's not an easy thing to deal with.

uhm, what? Im taking her Rock Climbing next month and out to dinner, I am holding out till then to even decide whether or not I want to be with her. Yeah, she has good looks, a nice personality, and a great daughter, but I wont just want to boink her o_o. Until then, the ol' sausage can wait..... its not important at this one point to get inside her, actually, it isnt important to me at all to. Well.... at least not for a few years, even if that...

Her last boyfriend was a dick after she had the child, she refused make him legal father because he was such a dick. Trust me when I say that she does not have that kind of personality, its quite the opposite.
