Differentials DO NOT get hot like other parts of the vehicle (like the engine ) and that is another reason you can go 100,000 between gear oil changes because there is no EXCESSIVE heat breaking down the oil.

So there is NO need for HIGH TEMP paint because it just doesn't get hot.

i knew they didnt get hot like an engine but they do get kinda warm i just wasnt sure i just used the engine enamel cuz i had it layin around. and i just used regular old 80-90
