just replaced my 84 ranger with a nice 98 xlt 2wd. I'm fortunate enough to be the 2nd owner the rig that is totally stock and been maintained by the local dealer. i guess if any one has any advice on the obvious mods and concerns that i need to address. I'm a hunter and would like to get some ground clearance, better lights, and of course - more mpg. it has 103k on the odometer and so far drives nice.

ok - i guess i'm being a bit selfish - glad to have stumbled across the ranger station and am looking forward to the advice i can give and receive.
