How do I do a screen shot seen several members do it I can't figure it out I see a print screen button but dunno what to do?

Press print screen, open paint, press CTRL + V. Open the File menu, click on Save As and save the image where you want it and as a .jpg image.

Also, Alt+PrintScreen will give you just the active window rather than the entire screen.

Thanks, I don't have paint on the computer so thats probly why I'm having trouble.

use google chrome.. it has a camera on the top right that is screenshot function

same theory as that, just save it and use it like you would a normal pic and photobucket.

that's the way i've always done it.

You don't need paint to do a screenshot. Any image handling software should be able to deal with it. That said, are you sure you don't have it? It's part of the standard Windows install. Try hitting Start/Run and typing 'mspaint' (without apostrophes).

Not really, everything you said was correct except for limiting where he could paste it. Print Screen or Alt-Print Screen just copies it to the clipboard. From there it's up to you where to drop it.

Your right I do have it thanks I've tried searching for it before and could find it in my list of options and what not, cool. I'll give this a try later.
