Ok my L____H Oil pressure gauge doesnt work and its because i have a swapped 2.3turbo and cannot for the life of me figure out where the one wire connector for the oil pressure sender is. I found a green black wire with the same type of connector and hooked it up and it didnt work, Does anyone know what Color the wire is that hooks up to the oil pressure sensor? 1989 ranger 2.3L? i have looked at millions of wiring diagrams and could not find it anywhere, so if someone can just check there truck for me or something thatd be great thanks!

feel like im talking to myself here :/

I think it's white/red.

Can someone post a picture of where the wire is coming from off the harness connected to the oil pressure sensor?

I agree with rtg143 the print shows WHT/RED Thats if your ranger had the gauge to begin with. Off of the Instrument voltage regulator are 3 wires YEL/WHT for fuel gauge RED/WHT for Coolant Temp and then the WHT/RED for oil pressure. Hope that helps

I found a wire that looks white/pink but im assuming the red is faded. the wire is not hooked up to anything. Is it possible that when i had this wire hooked up to the oil pressure sensor before, the reason it didnt work is because i have it hooked up to the stock thunderbird 2.3 turbo oil pressure sensor? I believe the ranger ops is off or on, maybe the one on the tbird is a real reading.
