Oil Pressure = None

so im riding home yesterday and doing about 55mph i realize the oil pressure gauge is dead, lower then low.

heres the story. my 87 2.9 cracked its heads about 4 years ago, got them repaired, and ever since it has had low(but within the redlines) oil pressure. now the truck was running with no problems that i could tell, the the pressure was extremely low, the needle was trying to go even further down.

what do you guys think? guage just broke? and help is praised

if its really lower than low, you would probably know. no rhyme intended.

Put in a mechanical gauge, factory gauges are garbage at best.

Use a MECHANICAL gauge. Not a replacement stock gauge. They are FOS.

Never use electrical gauges of any sort to measure anything but electrical properties.
