oil leak

alright so after i made a 250 mile trip through the mountains. i discovered that i am leaking oil from what appears to be the drain plug.

• it only leaks when its running
• the oil guage is reading around the L in "normal"
• i took it to a hole-in-the wall oil exchange, they said it was tight and not to worry
• could the O-ring or pan be cracked?
• what do i need to do before i drive back home on the 24th?

I change oil 6 days a week. more than likely you have a stripped drain plug or you need a new gasket on it. I see it all the time

i agree with shawn get yourslef a new drain plug and see if that doesnt help with the oil leak
