oil filters

your 2.9 takes Motorcraft part number FL- 1A.

Also avaliable at your local Walmart. (Not that I would recommend anyone support that place.) They are typically available anywhere they sell auto parts, Advanced, Autozone, ect. I use them exclusively.

From what I've heard, before, Walmart has put a lot of companys out of business in this country, that have had to relocate in other countrys to meet Walmart's policy demands for producing the product, at a price that Walmart tells them that they will buy it for, which has put a lot of people out of work, in this country.

According to a television documentary, before, Rubber Maid is one example. And there are many other ones, too.

I have sold products to WalMart. They treated me like any other company. They saw and liked my product, and we settled on a price. Then they asked what to do in case of any seconds or complaints about my product. We setteled on raising the price to them by .06%, after which they took back any of my product from the customer and GAVE that product to good will or somebody (I never found out who). Then we didn't have to worry about anything coming back to my factory.
Yes they have interrupted the old way of having mom and pop stores lineing up the streets, but they also have served to lower prices in general nationwide.

is fram is doing well on millions of engines as I type. If it was as bad as some are posting the lawsuits would put them out of bidness. At one time fram was named as the BEST oil filter by consumers guide! All oil filters work in todays engines. Certainly there may be a failure of one particular filter in all brands from time to time.. But as a whole fram does it's job the same as other brands.

i used fram on my grand am cuz i got eh car for $100 bucks and it was a POS. on my ranger i used a fram once and will never use a fram again , i prefer more than paper to filter a liquid. i been using WIX filters. they are about the same price as the medium priced fram at around $6 and seems to me to filter a whole lot better, after 3-4000 miles the oil comes out looking almost new, never did with a fram
