I had a free oil change at my dealer part of the deal buying a new truck there. I got to looking and the dealer must of taken off the oil filter access cover and never put it back. Will this hurt anything other than air dynamics? thanks.

Doesn’t matter either way... putting it back on is part of the job, so they didn't do the job correctly and stole part of your truck. Go get it back.
