We usually setup tents and protect them with the trucks just in case. Tents are safe at Southington. Its more just a habit carried over from Haspin Acres, Wellsville and Powerline. Tents are not as safe at those events haha.

the ville is different now since there is new owners for the village campsite. i didnt have any problems with my tent when i was there. we just made sure we didnt leave anything outside the tents.

I will not be staying over this time though. I will be rolling in Saturday and rolling out Saturday.

Thats my plan too. I have alot of other stuff going on then and won't be able to spend the weekend.

I may just head up Sat morning. And stay that night.

put me down as maybe. gotta talk to the better half, and possibly upgrading jobs.. gonna do some figuring out tonight

Put me down for it. If I can get my choptop together in time I intend on bringing that - rear is locked, front is open, 35" tires. As far as time goes, I have plenty of time, in theory, before the run. Need to finish putting the front axle together (tighten a couple bolts, drill out one broken one and replace, put U-joints in the shafts and put the outers back together), then I need someone to weld up my roll cage and get a windshield in it. The cage is my real sticking point, I've had 4 people now tell me they would weld it up for me. 8+ months later and I still have not been able to get a single person to do it.

In the event that I don't have a toy to bring along, I still intend on coming. Speaking as someone who brought a 2wd to past events, there is usually a few extra empty seats somewhere.

I think I can borrow the grill from home here as long as it doesn't walk off or get damaged. If I bring the choptop I'll probably tow it out behind my F-150 in which case bringing a grill shouldn't be an issue. It's a nice sized 5 burner. I'm not an expert on the grill, but I'm learning fast.

I will likely camp out Saturday night, Friday night is a maybe. We'll see when it gets closer. Anyone that would like to convoy out with me is welcome. Anyone coming from from further out that would like to stop at my place for the night on the way out or back is welcome as well, there's plenty of room here. Bring a fishing rod if you like to fish. I can't promise room in the house, but there is plenty of yard to pitch tents in.

This is what I'll be doing :D. Rode with Sampson at Bundy Hill on the stuff I didn't want to risk.

i've got a 4 door, so hauling people will not be a problem for me if people need seats

blah. So I went out to Southington today with some friends, Jeep ran great goin out there, got in there, wheeled for about an hour and lost oil pressure, it just doesn't like putsin around I guess. It holds pressure just fine out on the road, so I parked it and rode with my buddy. On the way back, my rebuilt transfer case that's just out of warranty decided to pop going 70 down the highway, only 4 low works now, everything else just grinds, so had to come home, hook up a trailer and go out and load it up on the side of the highway.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get it fixed and still bring it out June 1st! lol.
