Off-road training books-recommendations?

I've had a couple of books recommended, as well as sites, so I think I will check them out just as a reference, but it sounds like I will get the most out of going on rides.

My biggest concern, is I learned to ride bikes by going with my buddies. I rode well, but as the training tips and texts started coming out for MX, I learned there were things I could do better or were doing completely wrong, so just didn't want to get any bad habits that I had to re-learn later. It's one thing to lay down a mostly plastic dirt bike, it's another to roll or dent up your metal truck!!!

I have the 4-Wheelers Bible that Jim Allen had given to me to review. I highly recommend it. It covers everything from how to drive offroad, recovery techniques, field repairs and what tools to carry.

Sounds like what I'm looking for. Seems there are two How To books that I will look at, and a trail guide too, so I know where to go. I'm hooked up with a club, so they can teach, and I should be good to go.

Thanks all,
Dan'o ;}
