Odometer motor

My odometer motor has stopped working in my 2000 Ranger. Does anyone know which vehicles I can salvage one out of. I read the how to in the tech library and it used one from an explorer.

I would assume I can use any 98-00 ranger but what explorers can I salvage them outta?

When I did mine (the write-up) I just got a speedo from a random Expo and it worked fine. Not sure on the years - sorry I could not be more specific.

98-00 sounds about right explorer,ranger and i was told mountaineer would work and if you dont know how to take your dash apart theres a write up on here on how to do it
