I am about to recieve my np208. This is backed behind a AOD tranny. The truck is a 84 Ranger 4x4 that was 302 swapped.

Will the stock ranger spedo cable out of the bw1350 manual shift work with the np208? I really just need to know how to get the spedometer to work with a new tcase.

yeas, atleast the vss/mechanical one will, would asusme the regualar 1 will, unless using a jeep np208 with ford input/spacer

Pretty much all the modern ford t-cases. The Dana 20, NP205, NP208, BW1356, BW1345. Those are the pretty common ones you'll find.

it will be tight depending on engine placement, you may want to snag a cable off an 88 van so its longer and not in a bind..

thx for the info guys. I snagged a np208 last night for $50. Looks like the spedo entry on the tcase is the same as my 1350.
