I had my inst. cluster out for the second time this week (its like each bulb waits to burn out until I replace another one, so I replaced them all this time, That'll show them.) And I noticed this. Any idea on what it is? Maybe calibration for the speedo? Just curious.

its called a slosh module, it keeps ur fuel gauge from going up and down with turns and acceleration and all.

just seems kind of odd that it's not built in

they fail occasionally..its cheaper to replace that little chip than a whole cluster.

FYI, i always replace all the dash bulbs when one burns out...pulling the cluster is too much of a PITA not to spend the extra $9
