not getting any power since 2days ago

so on my 88 2.9 ranger a couple days ago i tried to start her but i forgot there was neither starter on her so she wouldnt crank over but still had power. now today i put on the starter and shes not getting any power? it looks like the key was left on and yes i do have the batt charger hooked up to it and still nothing. i replaced the battery cable with another one i got and its still the same thing. this is very confusing and fustrating and i have someone coming to look at her tomorrow.

Sometimes a dead dead dead battery can draw in so much power from the charger that it won't even try. Grab a battery out of one of your other 6 dozen trucks and try that one.

so i jjus went out an didnt touch a thing jus turned the key an she got power but still wont crank so i crossed out the solenoid and she just goes bzzzzzzz.. any ideas

hit it with a hammer, then try the battery suggestion, i am in the same boat with them!
