haha nah not last night. made this for a photo contest then realized id missed the deadline. but thought id share. ive had the worst ****ing day ever. i pulled an all nighter studying for my botany midterm and history midterm essay test. studied my ass off and didnt sleep. showered and got ready for class, laid down for a sec cause i have a few mn to leave, and i fell asleep! im so pissed at myself. missed the botany test but got the history essay in. i emailed my proffessor and hopefully i can schedule a time to retake. but f*** im so mad at myself..

What v8 are you using? I was wanting to swap in an 8 in my 97

I'm using a 5.oh out of a 98 expo. I'm stoked I'm so excited I'm starting tomorrow a day early.

And ya I have thought about airshocks and I voted no. I would have to constantly adjust the preasure due to altitude change. My average wheeling trip starts a 2500 feet and ends at 7000 feet. To much of a pain in the ass. Plus coil overs are cheaper and easyer to find used.

arent you gonna run into smog issues on the motor? its a year older.

The motor was produced 5 of 98 my truck was produced 7 of 98. Both from 98 that is my argument. If it doesn't work than I will sign it over to my dad in nevada and have him smog it up there

The other negative about air shocks is if you blow an air shock you are gonna ride the bump stop home, if you blow a coil over its just a bouncy ride home.

I was unaware that they were affected by elevation that drastically, but that is a good point about them blowing, vs a coilover. Heck, I drive every day on the free way with no shocks lol

Well I started the v8 swap today. My little truck is growing up so fast. I almost have the 3.0 out. I'm going to miss the little guy. So if anyone getts board this week end I can always use the help. When can I add the v8 user group banner above my pic?
