Sooooooooooo wes and anyone else who knows. I'm compiling a list of stuff I need to swap in the 60. So far I have

Drag link and Tie rod 230 bucks for the kit from ruffstuff

U bolts and spring plates and possibly spring perches depending on the width of the ones already on the 60.

And that should be about it right? The brake lines should hook up to the 60 calipers. The driveline will have to be built too I'm just looking at getting it under the truck so I can get the 44 sold to buy gears and a locker.
 
If you're going to lift it over 4" a track arm is good idea to run.

What year 60 are you going to run? 3/4 ton 44 brakes are d 60 brakes. You can probably just run the 44 calipers so you don't have to bleed the brakes. I will buy you gears and install them in trade for the 44 if your interested. I need a axle for the xterra. I can also build a drive line hell lets just do it in my garage. No homo

That would be awesome if I could just swap the old calipers onto the 60! Hy wes the problem with that is I was going to sell the 44 and use that money to buy the parts haha. I might know where you could get a 5 lug 44 from a 78 bronco tho!
 
If anyone else knows someone with a cj project, I have a nice amc I need to unload. Has new brakes and upgraded one piece shafts.
 
wes are you able to reflash a ranger ecm? im considering a manual swap and i would need to get the computer reflashed for my vin. and i remember you doing something in that realm when you did your 5.0 swap. what are my options, dealer maybe?

or is it possible to reflash the auto one and just erase the auto crap?

What motor is in it? I can't re flash a Ecm I had to pay a shop to do it. I have a 3.0 and a 4.0 4x4 5 speed and t case if your interested. A 2wd pre runner with low range would be bad ass

My buddy came over with his solid axle expo. His is so damn clean! He daily drives it and it has power everything and leather seats and a 78 bronco 44 and sterling 10.25 rear.

how much did it cost? i've done a ton of research into this and it could get expensive fast for just a 5 speed. so im thinking when i do put this truck under the knife, it needs to be worth it, so at least a 4.0 or 5.0. what do you want for the trans you have?
 
You need a vin # for a ranger with the same motor and a 5 speed. Most shops charge around $200. Or find the correct computer in a junk yard. The 4.0 trans is $150 the 3.0 trans is $300
