he,he, yeah, that does sound like a sweet gig... hey kdawg sorry to hear about your truck, but at least you weren't drivin' a semi!
:fie::nopityA:

Holy huge pictures batman!!!!!

looks very sad, how fast is that in km/h? like 80 or something?
how did you hit him at 40 mph? was it like on a sharp turn or something?
sorry for your accident

Yeah it was just under forty roughly around 35 and I veared off to the right and clipped him he had hArdly any damage just minor rear fender damage

Hope it looks good when you get 'er back. Lots of body shops hire slackers...

But they aren't very forgiving if you do tear something up. Pull a trailer away from the dock with someone standing in there (no injuries, just standing in there) and its called a "serious accident". Two of those in one career and your ass is fired.

Bottom line, check the box carefully before moving it...

I wish my company had that attitude, we have had two drivers do just over $15k worth of damage to two different trucks. All they got was a couple days off work to "think about" what they did. Had another drive get on the freeway with his PDL locked and ended up dropping the interaxle driveshaft out the truck, did about $8k worth of damage to that truck and messed up 8 passenger cars as well. He did not even get the couple day "thinking" time off.

No offence Snake but I'm glad to hear that there are companies out there with REAL safety policies in place, and that they actually enforce them.

No offense taken. They are hard-ass for a reason, and we tolerate it because of the top pay, lots of time off, smokin' benefits, and the equipment ain't bad either. I've been there 17+ years and I'm still like #50 in senoirity out of 230-something at the local terminal.

Add to this we used to be damn near the slowest trucks on the road at 65MPH- since fuel went up, we pass more people than ever!:yahoo:

sorry it took so long to get back my truck looks brand new got it back two months ago now, i will post pics as soon as i wash er' plus i went to court for the citation, and the witnesses didnt show up so the dropped the charges man am i one lucky SOB lol

yeah you did luck out pretty good! Looks like the good luck is going around, I got pulled over the other day and it could have been pretty costly (MA sucks for drivers under 18), but the cop let me go. So cheers to getting away with murder! (figuratively) How much did it set you back?

PS - next time give a warning with those pics, seeing a ranger like that brings a tear to my eye.

it only set me back 500 and allstate said they wont raise our rates since its the first claim we have ever made in like 16 years

sorry ill give warning next time

yeah in md that hate drivers under 21 so i am screwed for two more years lol

shes all better
