Me and a couple of friends would say that is "Coy and Vance'n" someone. Fans of The Dukes of Hazzard will understand this.

It is a stupid idea to ban it, but it is annoying...and some of the links actually lock up your computer so you have to reboot...that is more than just a bit annoying when you happen to have other things open that you are working on...

If someone rickrolled someone who was, say, at work...where they shouldn't be looking at other sites unless their employer is really lenient and they have to reboot during say a live call where their system is providing the support tools they need to do their job...well, that person might get fired...lol

It happened on here quite a bit a few years ago...fortunately we don't see it much...hint...hint...lol

Hmmm.. yeah, I'm plenty old enough for just about anything. I've been in the IT world for 29 years last month, so I've seen plenty. I've just been playing around these forums for a few years, but never heard that. Basically a bait and switch.

Rofl this is why I love these forums, not a bunch of kids moderating. But yea it's a bait and switch to a YouTube video, probably won't crash your computer. Anyways I opened another account kinda dumb but oh well. Start over not a big deal. Steam support takes at least a month to get back to you, pretty useless.

But man you should see the over moderation on there. It hinders the livelihood of the forums. The place is run entirely by volunteers, but I swear some if them hold grudges.

Anyways I can safely assume that the people I Rick rolled just hit the report this user button out of spite so naturally ...banned probably automatically.

thats awesome...truly... anyways update I made a new account and during the process got banned for ban evasion oh well tried a totally different setup AGAIN! lol see if they catch this one. I only do it because I have a surplus of games and trading outside the forums is nigh impossible! lol

I'd ban if you were continuously being an ass. If the site is geared to pre-teens and teens they probably already have a problem with immature behavior hence the immediate ban.

actually I tend to be helpful that was the only time I did anything like that, I've been a member since 2008 kinda lame seeing as how most of the people in there get away with murder...
