Noise when turning or braking

i lifted my truck, suspension lift, got it aligned and everything. now when i am slowly moving, like backing out of a parking spot, and i turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, there is a loud CLUNK noise. the same clunk noise happens when i brake kinda hard to a stop. the noise is coming from the front end somewhere. Does anyone else have this problem or know what i can do to solve it?

My 92 did that...but mine was lowered. My problem was worn out radius arm bushings and then they worked lose and were banging against the frame. Hope it helps.

Check that all the bolts are tight (radius arm bushings, radius arm-to-axle bolts, axle pivot bolts, axle & radius arm bracket bolts, etc.), and that all the bushings are good (check the pivot bushings as well).

I agree with the radius arm bushings. On mine it wore the crossmember and started to hit.

k, i took a couple pics, i found out where it is rubbing. the red arrows show that when i turn, it is rubbing where the yellow arrow is pointing to.

This is view is look at the front of the truck, and this is the front of the driver side front tire.






so is this the radius arm bushing? what do i do to check it or replace it?

Thats from your Motor mounts hitting your steering stabalizer which is causing your steering arm to rub against your bushings. How in the hell do you not know that

this doesn't make any sense you greaser

I can see how that would be the steering noise as your steering limiter (not sure what its really called) might be allowing the knuckle to hit the beam. But I can't see how that would be a braking noise too. Test it by jacking the front up a bit and turning lock to lock and checking if it hits or is very close to hitting. As for the brake noise I'd check the radius arm bushings on the frame under the cab.
