I have been looking all over for pillar pods or cluster sets for my truck and cannt find anything does anyone know some sites or magazines that may have it. any fabrication ideas are also well appreciated. i own a 1988 ford ranger xlt standard cab 2wd 2.3

You will likely not find one for your year. I used a universal 2 gauge pod made by Faze (Phaze).

well I would look for some Universail pods and some fiberglass. and get to work.

I have two trucks a Gen1 and a Gen3

Fortunatly you can get a pillar pod for the Gen3.

As for the Gen1?

I'm mounting guages in a three guage panel to the upper
interior windshield moulding.

I'm MAKING a four guage panel to mount across the top of the
"crap catcher" in the dash above the glove box.

The "crap catcher" will still work because anything tall enough that
my 2-1/2" wide guage panel (for 2-1/16" guages) would interfere
with it was gonna fall out and wind up in the passenger side footwell anyway.

Pillar Pods are visible and even eyecatching to others outside the vehicle and two kinds of people who will notice most
are two kinds of people who's attention you don't want:
Thieves and Police.
