i dont think its a ground, since the tail lights, front running lights and dash lights all come on when the multifuntion switch is turned on. does your licence plate lamp work?

no, but that wire is not connected, I need to look at that this weekend. There is an odd black wire back there I need to trace and see what is going on with it.....I guess I need to do that first and report back....

hopefully the wiring diagrams didnt change from the 92 to the 93 much. look for a brown wire under the dash leading off the main light switch test that for voltage when the switch is on.

Is that the lead for the other lights?

thats the lead for the tail lamps, park/running lamps, licence lamps, cant find what leads to the dash lamps. but there are to many grounds for them all to be out to cause this issue. if there is voltage at the brown wire in the light switch start tracing it till you find a connection unplug it and test for voltage their.

OK cool any idea on the dash lights?

Probably has something to do with the multi. Also recheck fuse #10 if i remember correctly

who knows

Hah, my bronco did that a year ago, glad to hear you got it fixed

I have the same issue some what
I turn on the parking lights and it blows the fuse constantly is that the same issue or something different

found problem

it was a short in the left front parking light wire going thru the core support

I have a relatively similar problem. All the running lights don't work. Head lights brake and directionals do. Just the running lights. Checked all fuses and they're good. Friend told me its gotta be the switch. I though that's impossible the headlights turn on with the switch. So I used my remote starter, turned the truck on, all running lights work then. So it must be the switch then. Just payed 30 bucks to put a brand new switch in, still have the same problem. Head lights brake lights and directionals work. Tail lights don't. Does anybody I have any sort of an idea? I'm lost.

You say you have a remote starter? Check where they spliced the wires in to see if the wire got disconnected from the switch but is still connected with the remote starts brain box

Allen, your issue pretty much has to be related to the remote start in one way or another. The parking lights and head lights work off two different pins of the headlight switch, both of which are always hot. They should work, regardless of the key position.
