no speedo or odometer

It's not a ranger but I figure there should be enough similarity to at least give me an idea. Vehicle in question is a 2000 windstar, it's not throwing any codes but the speedo and odo. are not working. it does have the abs light on but the light was on before the speedo stopped working. any thoughts would be appreciated.

it is the cable or sensor. replace the cable.

My old pos 1990 pontiac le mans had the same thing happen speedo/odo stopped working. cable snapped.

Vehicle speed sensor. Its going to be the one in the rear axle. Is it shifting ok or kinda funky? That would be the sensor I'm betting on.

If it was the speed sensor it would have thrown a code.

Anyway thanks for the replys guys, I found the problem.
