It won't let me for some reason.....on this '90 Ranger the fuse box under the hood is on the passenger side and clips onto a bracket (which is bolted to the fenderwall) with another cover/box with 2 relays or plugs under it that are removable which are the ones I have mentioned earlier. The battery is on the passenger side in the corner then the starter solenoid(sp?) is after that then the fuse box. After that is the Ford hookup for the EEC tester or whatever. All of this is under the hood along the passenger side fender wall. The driver side I'm not seeing anything except a few plugs. I hope I'm explaining this good enough.
the relays are located under the fuse box that's under the hood. Release the clips off the fuse box and lift up. That is where you will find your relays. You are correct the fuse box is on the passenger side of the truck. The drivers side has NOTHING but the coolant overflow and washer fluid res. and maybe the cruise control if you have it.
You are correct. You can move them around as they are interchangeable. Also check the connection on the EDIS module...that is located in front of the battery. If it isn't there check under it as it fell. this module will make the relays click when plugged and unplugged and that will also tell tou if the relays are good.
Doesn't the '88's have a CPS? I can't find one or a wire for it. I also don't have teeth on the carnk pully. I think i know where it is suppoed to be, but there isn't anything there. Just the marker for the timing.
