no spark points ignition

power to coil +
power to coil -
power at the points when opened
grounded when closed
everything seems right i still have no spark
new points new condencer new plugs new cap new rotor mew msd coil
cant figure it out
my coil doesnt have a ballast resistor does this matter?
i belive the 1990 ranger has a resistor wire ?
help please i want to get this thing running today

got it the resistor wire was the problem
when i put direct power to the coil points sparked
same power infront of resistir wire to coil nothing
same power after resistor got spark at points

so i eliminated the resistor wire (green with yellow stripe)
shes alive
exhaust and tv cable left to go
