Ok so I have finished my 5.0 swap from a 99 explorer to a 99 Mazda b3000.
All of my mechanical components are perfect.
Sent it to the dealer they said they synced the pats with the ecu.
They called and said they were getting spark but no fuel. They then quoted me 200 to get the fuel going. Turns out it was an old alarm.

So i had the exhaust put on at a shop and that cost 750.

Now I was setting up the motor so i could start it. Went to start the motor and now I have no spark or fuel pulse.

Any suggestions on the problem would be awesome.

So I figured I would elaborate on my situation.
When I got the truck back from the dealer they said when they went to crank the motor they never got spark or injection pulse.
They also said the motor feels like it is dragging which it does you can't even turn it over with a breaker bar. They suggested that the cam syncro gear may be in the wrong position which I knew it was so we fixed that and still no spark or fuel pulse. It is still hard to crank.

Help would be very appreciated because I can only work on it while I am not at school which gives me today and this weekend.

Thanks.

Hard to crank by hand is often a symptom of a torque converter not seating correctly? Is it an automatic?

Ok I dug a little deeper today and after a couple trys the motor started however it made a god aweful noise. It is coming from the torque converter and pressure plate area so I will be dropping the tranny on saturday.

Thanks a lot man I appreciate it.
